Available since v. 5.4.*

Additional information about custom fields is available in Jira global search witch allowing for quick verification regarding field contexts and screen usage.

Additionally, if a field has defined contexts for projects or appears on screens, you can click on the icons and view the details

Explanations of icons and colors

Workaround - Data Picker (Date Picker)

  • The field has context for 5 projects

  • Issue screens where a custom field appears.

Workaround (Text Field [multi-line])

  • The field has a global context and context for 1 project

  • Issue screens where a custom field appears.

Workaround - Checkbox (Checkboxes)

  • The field only has a global context

  • Issue screens where a custom field appears.

Workaround - Label (Labels)

  • The field has no context

  • Issue screens where a custom field appears.
