Lock/Unlock Custom Fields

Some fields added by different JIRA versions and additional plugins can be locked .

According to Atlassian documentation, the only option to unlock these fields is by making changes to the database. Refer to How to unlock a Locked Jira Software Field for more details.

From now on, you can perform this action without accessing the database. Simply go to the Custom Fields setting page in JIRA and select the Lock Field/Unlock Field option from the Actions menu.
